Te Waihanga General Manager, Strategy, Geoff Cooper presented at the Taituarā Infrastructure for the Future(external link) Forum today in Wellington.
The forum looked at how central and local government and the private sector can work to collectively lift the performance of Aotearoa New Zealand’s major infrastructure projects.
The Te Waihanga presentation focused on the work the Commission is doing to develop a 30-year infrastructure strategy for New Zealand and the release of the He Tūāpapa ki te Ora, Infrastructure for a Better Future consultation document.
The document sets out the approach Te Waihanga is proposing to take in developing the Infrastructure Strategy. Consultation is currently underway and closes on Friday 2 July 2021.
