New research helps public sector get better value from public infrastructure investment

New Te Waihanga research helps public sector agencies get better value from public infrastructure investment in order to address Aotearoa New Zealand’s infrastructure challenges and create a thriving future.

This is part of the Commission’s work to improve New Zealanders’ infrastructure systems – as the need for improved procurement processes was highlighted in both the Construction Sector Accord(external link) and the Commission’s own Draft New Zealand Infrastructure Strategy(external link).

The report makes a range of recommendations around different methods and considerations that are used in project procurement.
